Funding Source for the Homeless
An innovative new funding source called Minitrusts (www.minitrusts.org) is available for the Oregonian homeless. It allows the family of a homeless person to open a Minitrust account to benefit only the designated homeless family member. Payments go to the vendor of the products or services needed by the homeless without the cash passing through the homeless person, and possibly being redirected.
