Discovering what privilege is to a group of disadvantaged creates internal and external combustion that ignites a continual voice of social justice.  This training will dive into the role of socialization and hegemony in maintaining continuous conversations of equity and social justice.  We will ask and answer hard questions about race, and sexual orientation, and unpack the norms of a pervasive hegemonic system.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Explore hard conversations of what the privilege of a dominant culture is to a group of disadvantaged people.
  • Training creates internal and external combustion of conversation that ignites a continual voice of social justice.
  • Ask and answer hard questions about race, and sexual orientation, and unpack the norms of a pervasive powerful system.
