Danielle Flores, MSW, LICSW
Danielle Flores, MSW, LICSW (She/Her), brings over a decade of dedicated service to NASW, balancing her passion for both direct and macro social work practice. She began her journey as an MSW Student Representative in Nevada and later joined NASW staff, contributing to advocacy, event planning, and professional development initiatives. Since relocating to Washington, Danielle has served in multiple leadership roles, including Secretary of the Board, Membership Engagement Committee member, and Conference Planning Committee Chair.

TyKera Williams, LICSW
TyKera Williams, LSWAIC (She/Her) earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biopsychology with a minor in entrepreneurship from Loyola University of Maryland and an MSW from Seattle University. She has empathetically served those who are challenged by chronic health conditions, substance use, and sustaining mental wellness. TyKera is a lifelong learner who passionately advocates for equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Allison Weide, MSW
Allison Weide, MSW (She/Her), joined NASW as a student member in 2022 and has served as both the BSW and MSW Student Representative on the NASW-WA Board. She has contributed to the organization through involvement on several committees, including the Legislative Action Committee, PACE, and as a Delegate to the Delegate Assembly. Allison earned her BSW from Saint Martin’s University and her MSW from The Ohio State University, where she now teaches in the social work department. She also works part-time implementing substance use prevention programs for youth in Tumwater.

Paulette Chavez, MSW, LICSW
Paulette Chavez, MSW, LICSW (She/Her/Ella) an active member of NASW since 2022 and a resident of Washington State since 2018. Since then, she has been heavily involved by serving as a Delegate to the Delegate Assembly and as part of the Legislative Action Committee. Paulette earned her BA’s in Psychology and Sociology, as well as her MSW from the University of Missouri - Columbia. She has worked in Adult Community Behavioral Health, Criminal Justice, Acute Health Care, Community Engagement, and currently works on an Acute Inpatient Stroke Rehabilitation Unit. She recently obtained her LICSW and is passionate about policy, process improvement, and advocacy.

Jennifer Harris, MSW, LICSW (She/Her) is a dedicated social worker with a strong commitment to advocacy and continual learning. Her experience spans beyond clinical work to include leadership and expertise in diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism. Jennifer's passion for serving others shines through her desire to take on roles such as Eastern WA representative, showcasing her dedication to making a meaningful impact in the social work field. Jennifer earned her MSW from Eastern Washington University.

Cara Hernandez, MSW, LICSW (She/Her) is a dedicated social worker with a strong commitment to advancing the profession through mentorship and advocacy. In her professional role, she supports BSW and MSW students in developing their clinical skills and provides licensure supervision to eligible practitioners. Cara serves on NASW-WA’s Legislative Action Committee, three local boards, and the President’s Hispanic Advisory Council at Eastern Washington University. She is passionate about ensuring social work remains a vital presence across diverse arenas and is committed to advocating for the continued growth and impact of the field.

Nichelle Curtis-McQueen, MSW
Nichelle Curtis-McQueen, MSW (She/Her), is a dedicated macro social work professional with a strong focus on policy, advocacy, and community engagement. She serves as Chair of the NASW-WA Legislative Action Committee, is a member of the PACE committee, and holds a seat on the City of Federal Way's Human Services Commission. With formal training in public policy, Nichelle is committed to advancing systemic change and elevating the role of social workers in civic spaces. She also teaches as an adjunct professor at Saint Martin’s University and mentors BSW students nationwide, inspiring them to pursue impactful careers in macro practice.

Libby Hollan
Libby Hollan (She/Her) is an MSW student at Eastern Washington University with a focus on clinical social work. She works as a senior recruiter at SOUND Behavioral Health, where she is passionate about connecting individuals with meaningful careers in community behavioral health. With a background in human resources across sectors, including suicide prevention and supported living, Libby brings a deep understanding of workforce development in social services. She also facilitates a virtual peer support group for LGBTQIA+ adults through NAMI Seattle. Libby is committed to engaging fellow MSW students in NASW initiatives and supporting part-time students navigating career transitions into social work.
